The Clean Energy Investment Program (CEIP) was created to promote energy efficient or renewable energy (EE/RE) products and technologies in Florida by providing funding to businesses to increase the use of EE/RE technologies, equipment and materials in the State. The Florida Energy and Climate Commission provided approximately $32.5 million to capitalize the CEIP from funding received through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Through June 30, 2019, nine investment commitments totaling $32.4 million have been made by the FOF under the Clean Energy Investment Program, and, as of June 30, 2019 there were active CEIP investments in eight Florida companies totaling $29 million.
